Choices and Consequences

Focus Our Attention

Choose Actions That Create Good Consequences

We create our lives with the choices we make.  We choose what we do with every action we take.  The choices we make and actions we take either move us toward satisfying our life needs or move us away from filling our life needs.

With each step we take, we have the capacity to choose to take an action that moves us toward satisfying our most important life needs.  On the other hand, we can make choices that cause harm to ourselves or others.

We cause harm when we displace the focus of our attention from the source where it resides and unconsciously place it externally at some point in our interactions.  When we correctly place the focus of our attention to direct our actions, we can successfully fill our needs.

Choices and actions determine our life outcomes

Sometimes the choices we make and actions we take move us “toward” accomplishing our intentions (needs).  We experience “good” outcomes.

Sometimes the choices we make and actions we take move us “away” from accomplishing our intentions (needs).  We create “not so good” outcomes.

Doing nothing to fill our intention (need) is also a choice.  Sometimes pausing and doing nothing can be a “good” choice.  Sometimes doing nothing is a “not so good” choice when it keeps us from moving forward with our life.

The life we have today is a result of the choices we have made and the actions we have taken.

If we are satisfied with our life, we can keep moving forward.

If we are not satisfied with our life, we can examine our choices and what we have done to see where changes can be made.  We can focus our attention and connect within to choose and take different actions to create “good outcomes” so we feel satisfied with our lives.
